The Maintenance Shift
A GLP Medication Maintenance Toolkit…because losing weight and maintaining weight require different skills.
A 65-page digital guide and workbook designed to help you maintain your progress from a GLP medication with structure, support, and self-trust.
Developed by a clinical health psychologist and a women’s health nurse practitioner who use these tools with their patients every day.
Created to provide you with the knowledge and tools you should have had from the start.
MAINTENANCE IS NOT THE EASY PART
Research indicates that GLP Medications are effective producing mean weight loss of 10-30%; however when the medication is stopped, two-thirds of the weight lost is usually regained within a year.
In addition, 65% of users stop using GLP medications within a year (often due to side effects, reaching their goal weight, or medication cost).
Researchers concluded that, “Sustaining weight loss after GLP-1 RA discontinuation will ultimately depend on integrated, patient-centered frameworks combining ongoing lifestyle, behavioral, and system-level supports.”
We developed The Maintenance Shift to address all of those components needed for sustained weight loss.

WHY THIS WORKS
-

Expert-Created
Created by a clinical health psychologist and a women’s health NP who use these tools daily to help our clients move successfully into maintenance.
-

Evidence-Based
We use the latest evidence from research in lifestyle medicine, women’s health, hormones, habit change, identity, and mental health to create this toolkit.
-

Compassionate
Most patients aren’t given maintenance information during treatment. After the dedication, time, and money on treatment, we created these tools to be used with no shame or judgment.
-

Practical & Simple
Worksheets, checklists, reflection prompts that fit into your day and actually help. Move at your own pace and return to what helps most again and again.
-

Fills a Gap
Information abounds on ways to start a GLP Medication, but there is a gap in information and support around what to do after you lose the weight. Patients are told they have to stay on the medications for life. Although that may be true for some, we believe that combination lifestyle and medical support can be used to to shift into maintenance.
-

Affordable
GLP Medications can be expensive in addition to the rising costs of daily living. We designed a toolkit to be financially accessible and useable for life.
